👎
as a rule, immediately after you get the salary, put aside your country’s minimal wage for living expenses and everything else goes into savings. If you can’t live out of min wage then it’s a clear indicator you need some changes in your life and fast.
Also pet expenses aren’t living style. You chose to have a pet. Its essential expenses are yours too.
That ending message said it all "Be happier with the money you have"
Love your educating skills. I want your videos to be pushed out there more.
I love how none of the buckets included retirement savings. Does nobody save for retirement?
I love these guys!!! So engaging ❤

Sad laughing face on this comedy
I’m extremely afraid of the word “Budget or budgeting” the words sounds evil to me. And the terms just don’t make any sense to me
Budgeting basics number 1. Make more than you spend. 🙂
do you guys have a favorite budgeting app
Sure, its easy to steal from your other budgets, there are things that happen unexpectedly, and also most of us live paycheck to paycheck so it doesn’t help that its hard to "save" anything. Do you have an updated video for people who are truly struggling?
Smith Linda Young Kimberly Williams Daniel
As a 13 year old looking forward to starting a school business and not so much to having struggles on how to manage money in my early adult years I love your channel!
Great video. I call it an event fund. Preparing for the "event."
PET FOOD IN LIFESTYLE!?!? ARE THE THINGS YOU BUY YOUR BABY IN THERE TOO!?!?!??!?

The BIGGEST LIE You’ve Been Told About Money is that it doesn’t grow on TREES!! 😆
someone said to me
90% of people dont have money, what are the 10% doing different?
simple answer always is "they earn more money" however, they are all getting the same paycheck. so whats the difference then? of course, they spend less by checking deals, insurance etc
me on first date: “I’m not broke, I’m the general of a small army”
been doing since 4 months.. no savings but took a lot of stress away
Wtf, they are stating people go out to dinner just with a chance they *might* afford it?
PONGAN SUBTITULOS EN ESPAÑOL CULIA
I don’t like the military strategy comparison.. I’m terrible at tactical military games like Risk and such.. that comparison makes me give up on budgeting evem faster
What software would you recommend for a person who is trying to put every dollar or penny to a purpose?
Love the analogy of budgeting as commanding an army that George Washington would be proud of! It’s so true that giving every dollar a ‘job’ brings clarity and control. I started tracking my expenses last month, and it’s wild how much peace of mind it brings. What’s the category you struggle with the most? For me, it’s discretionary spending—those little treats add up!
Richest man in Babylon 😂 vibe
This was very informative and its something I definitely will try
Lifestyle should be the same as discretionary
"renting a movie"
Me: *immediately checks when this video was uploaded
I don’t like the way she said, “treating yo’ self.”
is it just me or did you also feel llike you got absolutely no information after having watched this video?
Great video. I am working on a unique way to help everyone with this. Let’s all come together
FEEDBACK
I like the explanation they give of how to determine a family budget that is simple to understand, but the explanation they give of the distribution of income and the groups determined for expenses and savings I do not consider that they follow an expensive rule of why that division and its importance.
I’d like you to check out my video on youTube https://youtu.be/izlFL0jcU-Y where I explain the most common nerdwallet 50/30/20 distribution rule compared to the income distribution used by banks for the authorization of mortgages, loans, and debt-to-income credit cards according to CHASE and I’d like you to evaluate them and define their importance in household budgeting.
Thank you, I would like to hear your feedback.
Lost me when they suggested I had 10,000 in my account * cries in poor*
This is a great video
It’s funny how Americans count cars and gas with essentials 😂
I still live with my parents but my rule of thumb on more luxerious things is one, if you have to save for a vacation you cant afford it, two dont make any big purchases unless you know you are going to use that item on a weekly or daily basis, three starting out young every big purchase should go towards equipment or resources to further your career, when i do spend money on things it is almost insignificant, like 2 dollars every other day for fries at zaxbys, 5 dollars for a burger, and maybe 20 dollars wvery 4 weeks for a movie or something spightly nicers, but doing that I can make 100 dollars last 2 weeks
Is there a specific amount that I am required to put in any of these listed? Or does it just depend on me?
Using credit cards to buy necessities doesn’t count towards you income because the money isn’t actually yours…its borrowed at a compounded interest rate. Here in lies the problem with America’s financial problems, credit cards.
I wish life has little UI I can see.
It feels like a game
Ask Perplexity AI app – How many days are there from today to end of the month? Take answer to divide by the money in your bank account or budget allocated to wants. Then times 7 (for weeks), that’s the amount that you should allocate from savings to spending every Sunday (set auto weekly recurring phone reminder).
Gym membership is for health, it should surely be essential
